Beer and food pairings have been on the rise for a few years now, many fine dining establishments have jumped on the trend and have been churning out pairing dinners that continuously sell out. Many expect a rich, dense dessert pairing of chocolate and a fine stout or porter, and while those are delicious there are many flavors that beer pairs well with. The Craft Beer & Cookie Fest on October 24 is a fine example of how versatile beer flavors can be. Girl Scout cookies will be paired up with beers from: English Setter Brewing, Lagunitas Brewing, Iron Goat Brewing, Black Label Brewing, Waddell’s Pub & Grill, New Boundary Brewing, River City Brewing, and Alaskan Brewing.

Event time is from 4-7pm, located at Girl Scouts Program Center, 1404 North Ash Street, Spokane, WA. Advanced tickets are $15, $20 at the door, or $25 VIP. Your ticket will include three 4-ounce tasting pours, and a brat dog from Nick’s Shameless Sausages. VIP ticket will include the above plus two more 4-ounce tastings and commemorative Craft Beer & Cookie tasting glass. Tickets can be purchased on Brown Paper Tickets.
