Downpour Brewing’s 1st Anniversary Week-Long Celebration

Today begins the week-long first anniversary celebration of Kingston’s Downpour Brewing. Throughout the week Downpour will be raffling off prizes, including a coveted Mug Club membership. They will also be tapping various special beers, Monday’s offerings include a beer infused with kiwis, strawberries, and Amarillo hops while a second beer is infused with jalapenos and chocolate. The celebration begins Monday, October 19 will continues through Saturday, October 24 when at 6:00pm Downpour Brewing will tap their anniversary beer.

Dan and Kristen Williams not only started the brewery together in 2014, but the husband-and-wife duo also brew together. Downpour specializes in small-batch beers, this gives them a constantly rotating array of beers on tap including their toasty Sad Sasquatch Scotch ale, hoppy Loose Seal IPA, and  their roasty Sacks Stout. Downpour Brewing is within a 10 minute walk of the Kingston-Edmonds ferry, we suggest if you live on the Edmonds side to walk on the ferry and enjoy the scenic views of the Puget Sound.
