Flying Lion Brewing Releases 1st Anniversary Imperial Rye Stout

Columbia City’s own Flying Lion Brewing celebrates its first anniversary officially on Thursday, October 22 with a special release of their Imperial Rye Stout. The beer was “fermented with a blend of Northwest Ale and Belgian yeasts, aged on Cherry wood, this stout is big, smooth, and full of flavor.” The Imperial Rye Stout will be available Thursday only, $3 for a tulip or $12 for a growler fill.

Flying Lion continues their celebration on Friday, October 23 with a growler deal; if you buy a growler fill they’ll throw in a Flying Lion pint glass. Saturday they will throw an anniversary party starting at 10:00am. SmokeCo BBQ will be there with a full BBQ variety including smoked brisket, chicken, sole slaw, and more. Food will be $3 for a plate, while it lasts.
