Bellevue’s Rock Bottom Brewery To Close Doors

By  |

After 15 years in business, Bellevue’s Rock Bottom Brewery is closing its doors permanently at the end of this week.

Located in the heart of downtown in the Bellevue Connection (formerly the Bellevue Galleria), the brewpub is part of a larger national chain with 30+ locations, including one near Pike Place Market in Seattle. The chain advertises a brewery and restaurant experience that focuses on handcrafted beer with site specific brewers and seasonals. The East Side location was known for its dog-friendly patio, and was a popular place to watch football.

The news of the closure came without explanation, and the brewpub’s patrons expressed their surprise and dismay on the Bellevue Rock Bottom Brewery’s Facebook page. There is no word yet on what business will occupy the space once it is available.

The brewpub’s last day for business will be this Friday, October 30th, and will feature all day happy hour pricing as well as T-shirt, pint glass, and memorabilia giveaways. The proceeds from this final event will benefit the Seattle Humane Society.
