Silver City Brewery will be releasing its annual Christmas ale, Old Scrooge, on Thursday, November 5 at their taproom. The seasonal is part of Silver City’s Limited Series, a series of currently six beers in which each beer is available for approximately two months after release. Old Scrooge recently won a gold medal at the annual Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado for the Old Ale/Strong Ale category. The Christmas ale will be available on draft as well as 22-ounce bottles at the taproom, bottles will be distributed to bottle shops and stores shortly after.

“Intriguing notes of apple, cherry, and apricot abound from the long boil time, cool fermentation, and extended aging of this dark, malty ale. Celebrate this year’s release and save some for next, as this beer matures wonderfully when cellared.”
