The Good Food Awards Finalists for 2016 have just been announced and Washington has many top contenders in both the Beer and Cider categories.


Fish Brewing – Wild Salmon Pale Ale

Pike Brewing – Pike Wood Aged Kilt Lifter

Reuben’s Brews – Robust Porter



Eaglemount Wine and Cider – Ginger Cider

Finnriver Farm & Cidery – Firebarrel

Snowdrift Cider Co. – Cornice & Red


The Good Food Awards are an annual award given to producers throughout 13 different categories: beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, cider, coffee, confections, honey, pantry, pickles, preserves, oil, and spirits. The awards celebrate craftmanship, sustainability, and the building of community in each area of expertise. Winners will be announced January 15, 2016 at a ceremony and gala in San Francisco.


Certified Cicerone®, Editor for New School Beer - Washington, she has been in the local beer industry for two years. Currently slinging beers at Stoup Brewing and is founder of the Seattle chapter of Girls Pint Out, member of Pink Boots Society, and contributor to Volume by Alcohol and Brewed For Thought.
