City Fruit’s 5th Annual Cider Taste Fundraiser

City Fruit is bringing back its wildly popular Cider Taste fundraiser for its fifth year on Thursday, November 12 from 6:30-9:00pm. The event will take place at the Pike Place Atrium Kitchen. The fundraiser will feature 10 cideries pouring over 30 different ciders.

Ticket will include one event passport for the evening, a souvenir glass, 10 tasting tokens and 5 small plates plus 1 amuse bouche.

Participating cideries and their ciders:

Alpenfire Cidery – Dungeness, Glow, Ember

Dragon’s Head Cider – Manchurian, Pippin, Wild Fermented

Finnriver Farm & Cidery – Forest Ginger, Fresh Hopped, Black Currant, Country Peach, Cacao Brandywine

Grizzly Ciderworks – The Ridge, Woodlander, The Bruin

Nashi Orchards – Chojuro Asian Pear Perry, Issho Ni Cider

Seattle Cider – 2014 Washington Heirloom, Oaked Maple, Cold Brew

Schilling Cider – Chaider, Gold, Dry, Ginger

Snowdrift Cider – Cliffbreaks, Cornice, Red

Tieton Cider Works – Spice Route, Cranberry Cider, Wild Washington

Whitewood Cider – Old Fangled, Northland, Red Cap


This year will include a new feature, unique small plate pairings created by six notable chefs: Ethan Stowell, Jerry Traunfeld, Thierry Rautureau, Daisley Gordon, John Sundstrom, and Erik Jackson. On top of the exceptional food and ciders available there will also be a live auction for the chance to bid on “cider-themed prizes and unique local experiences.”

Tickets are $85 for individuals or $75 for City Fruit members, you can purchase them online. Tickets are limited.

Pike Place Atrium Kitchen is located at 1433 First Avenue, Seattle, WA.
