Fremont Brewing will be releasing their highly sought-after Bourbon Barrel-Aged Abominable winter ale on Friday, November 27. Affectionately called BBomb, the beer is released annually on Black Friday and is known locally as BBomb Friday.

This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 12 and 15 year-old American Oak whiskey barrels and is a blend of 24 and 12-month old barrel strength Abominable Ale. B-Bomb achieves distinct bourbon, oak, cacao, leather, and dark coffee notes from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure.

Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Chocolate, Roast, Carafe, Munich, and Dark Crystal malts with Columbus, Willamette, and Golding hops.
Color: Deep black
Aroma: Vanilla, wood, caramel
Flavor: Cocoa, bourbon, dried fruit
ABV: 14%
IBU: 65

The taproom will begin selling 22-ounce bottles (6 bottle limit per person) at 11:00am. Fremont Brewing will have three different Abominable infusions on tap from 5:00-9:00pm.

Fremont Brewing is located at 3409 Woodland Park Avenue North, Seattle, WA.
